The Bookstore Theory

So, remember how we all keep going to the bookstore even without buying or getting anything but we just keep on returning every time and as much as we could? Also, remember how we could just all feel safer than ever only with the thought of being inside the bookstore or how we could let ourselves remain satisfied being silly thinking about what could happen if only we had all the money in the world to have all the books the bookstore can offer?

I think, that is how it works when we keep on loving the same person over and over again, even if we don’t get anything in return. We just get contented with the fact that we’re capable of feeling something and that we get all silly and satisfied thinking about the endless what ifs should the love you feel be returned by this person.

Which, if we really think about it, is actually quite sad because we all deserve to love and be loved. And, some people just stop believing in the miracle of love after a series of unrequited love because they feel that that’s their fate and nothing else could be done to help. Sad, right?
